No. 1 Ferris State has battled its way to the finals, knocking off Barry and West Texas A&M in two close games. Northern State was also tested, first fending off a late comeback by East Stroudsburg and then surviving in double overtime against Queens (NC) in the tournament's most thrilling game thus far.
