Zoe Saldana, star of Guardians of the Galaxy (Gamora) and Avatar (Neytiri), received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame Thursday in a ceremony attended by the likes of Marvel Studios president Kevin FeigeAvatar mastermind James Cameron, and actors and pals Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher.
"Zoe pretty much owns outer space," said Cameron in his introductory speech. "I may be the king of the world, but she's the queen of the universe. Somehow, she managed to star in not one, not two, but three massively successful movie franchises: Star TrekGuardians of the Galaxy, and Avatar."
He then pointed out that it was actually shooting day for them, and that he, Saldana, a producer, and a few members of the cast were present at the ceremony instead of filming on set. "There's pretty much tumbleweeds blowing back through the set back at the studio," he joked. "Please, nobody tell 20th Century Fox."

"I am truly honored by your kind and generous words, which only further exemplify the kind of director, storyteller, and mentor that you have been for me," Saldana said when she took the podium. "Since I was a little girl, it's your stories that have resonated with me the most, from Sarah Connor to Ellen Ripley; I've been following you wherever you go because you're my favorite filmmaker."

Police chief Alfonso Morales said some officers had been disciplined over the incident as the force released body-camera footage which showed how an interaction over an illegally parked car rapidly escalated. It began at around 2am on 26 January in a Walgreens car park when Brown walked out of the store to find an officer standing by his car asking him for his driver's licence. The video shows Brown telling an officer not to touch him as he approaches the passenger door of his car. "Back up! Back up!" the officer yells. "For what? I ain't d...
