Royal wedding fashion: Amal Clooney is a ray of sunshine in yellow Stella McCartney
Even though she was on the Long Walk instead of a red carpet, Amal Clooney, fresh off the best-dressed list at the Met Gala, scored style points again at the royal wedding.
She popped in a canary-yellow Stella McCartney dress with an asymmetrical train. And this being a royal wedding, of course, there was a matching hat involved: in her case, a wide-brimmed hat with a bit of yellow netting at the front.
As for her husband, George sported a gray suit and light-pink tie, close to the color of some of the morning suits worn by other male guests.
What's Mrs. Clooney's royal connection? BBC commentators noted that Amal provided valuable intel to Meghan Markle when she first moved to London: Who could she trust to do her hair?
Plus, Clooney, a noted human-rights attorney, knows a thing or two about marrying the most eligible bachelor in the world, which had to come in handy as the royal wedding approached. On Saturday, she arrived with a dapper George Clooney by her side.
Looks like Clooney was repaid for her warm welcome to the U.K. with an invitation to the wedding of the year.
